Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use apply to all mobile apps published by Smart Fox ApS ("Smart Fox", "we", "us") and to this website, except for KidCloset, which has its own terms. By downloading or using our apps, you agree to these terms.

2. Apps downloaded from the Apple App Store

If you download one of our apps from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). That agreement is between you and Smart Fox ApS, not Apple. These Terms of Use add details that are specific to our apps, such as how subscriptions work. If the two conflict, Apple's Standard EULA applies.

3. Apps downloaded from Google Play

If you download one of our apps from Google Play, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

• Some apps offer optional purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium content, or auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute our apps or their content, and don't use them for any unlawful purpose.

6. Our content

The apps, the Smart Fox name, the fox character, quiz content, designs and this website belong to Smart Fox ApS and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7. Ads and third-party services

Free versions of some apps show ads served by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or websites. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

8. Educational content

We work hard to keep our facts, flags, maps and answers accurate, but mistakes can happen and the world changes. Our apps are for learning and fun. Please don't rely on them as an official source. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the apps. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Changes and termination

We may update our apps and these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. You can stop using our apps at any time by deleting them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
